About

Breachway Capital is a venture capital and growth equity firm launched in 2025 with offices in Boston and New York. The firm was founded by entrepreneur and investor Jason Krantz and is also led by Joe Mirisola. Investment Focus

The firm invests in B2B software, AI, and data companies that have reached the Series A stage or later.

Its focus is on businesses that already demonstrate strong product-market fit and are generating between $3 million and $15 million in annual recurring revenue.

Fund

Breachway Capital launched in September 2025 with a permanent capital model, designed to give it flexibility and staying power in backing companies for the long term.

Rather than a traditional closed-end venture fund, this structure allows the firm to deploy capital consistently across cycles and support portfolio companies through multiple stages of growth.

The initial platform was created to target Series A+ companies in high-growth markets, particularly those leveraging data and artificial intelligence in enterprise settings.

Other Information

Leadership

Breachway Capital was founded by Jason Krantz, an entrepreneur and investor with experience building and scaling data-driven companies, and is also led by Joe Mirisola, who brings a background in venture and growth investing. The leadership team is complemented by Principal Carter Dwyer, formerly an investment banker at Centerview Partners, who supports sourcing, deal execution, and portfolio value creation.

Investment Strategy

The firm’s strategy centers on identifying companies with validated product-market fit and strong recurring revenues, then helping them scale efficiently. Breachway brings hands-on expertise in go-to-market strategy, product development, and operational excellence, positioning itself as an active partner rather than a passive investor. Its permanent capital model allows the team to align with founders for the long run without the constraints of a fixed fund lifecycle.

Notable Investments

Although newly launched, Breachway has already invested in several companies, including Cariina, Emporia, FINTRX, MDCalc, Prompt, Recovery.com, and Vested. These reflect its focus on B2B software, healthcare-related platforms, and data-driven applications.

Notable Exits

As a newly launched firm, Breachway Capital has not yet recorded notable exits.

Other

Breachway’s permanent capital model and operating-first approach are notable differentiators in a venture ecosystem still largely built around traditional fund cycles. Founders engaging with Breachway can expect both long-term alignment and hands-on operational support.
