Entrée Capital is a global venture capital firm founded fifteen years ago by serial entrepreneurs and now managing $1.5 billion in assets. With teams across Israel, the U.S., and Europe, the firm invests from pre-seed through late-stage, backing founders building software, deep tech, defense, and frontier technologies. Entrée has invested in more than 180 companies and achieved over 43 exits and IPOs, returning more than $3 billion to its LPs. The firm is recognized for its consistent top-tier performance, ranking #1 on the Forbes EMEA VC Midas List and #16 globally.
Entrée Capital invests across software, deep tech, quantum technologies, crypto infrastructure, security, enterprise SaaS, AI, cyber, and defense.
Its portfolio spans consumer and enterprise companies with global scaling potential, and it is known for backing breakout companies early and re-entering at later stages when warranted.
Entrée Capital raised two new funds totaling $300 million in 2025, expanding its investment strategy across early and growth-stage opportunities. The new capital is strategically split: a $125 million core fund dedicated to pre-seed and seed investments, including reserves, and a $175 million fund focused on Series A and Series B rounds.
The early-stage fund is expected to support 25 to 30 companies, with Entrée leading some rounds and collaborating with other funds on others. Approximately half of this vehicle is earmarked for follow-on capital to reinforce high-performing portfolio companies.
The second vehicle, targeting A and B rounds, continues a strategy Entrée adopted in 2020: investing in companies it missed at the early stage but later identified as exceptional based on operational maturity, product strength, and traction. Entrée has already deployed capital into 13 companies from this fund, using its cross-stage visibility to enter at moments of clarity and inflection.
Together, the new funds strengthen the firm’s ability to invest across the entire early lifecycle of a company, from founding to early growth, and reflect Entrée’s conviction that the coming years will produce a shakeout in startups that fail to transition effectively into the AI-driven era.
Leadership
Entrée Capital is led by seven partners, including four general partners: Ran Achituv, Yoni Osherov, Eran Bielski, and co-founder and managing partner Avi Eyal. The firm is supported by platform, finance, marketing, and R&D teams that contribute to founder support and portfolio scaling.
Investment Strategy
Entrée Capital follows a multi-stage strategy anchored in early technical insight, disciplined deployment, and sector specialization. The firm invests at pre-seed and seed through its core fund, focusing on founders building foundational AI systems, deep tech, and enterprise software. At later stages, Entrée enters companies that have demonstrated clear product-market fit and strong operational discipline.
The firm applies a long-term view of market cycles, emphasizing fundamentals over hype, particularly in sectors like cybersecurity where valuations have recently outpaced public market comparables. Defense tech is a growing area of focus, supported by partner Ran Achituv’s expertise. Entrée balances conviction investing with significant reserves to ensure continued support of its most promising companies.
