Maximum Frequency Ventures

About

Maximum Frequency Ventures (MFV) is a newly launched, operator-led venture capital firm based in the United States. Founded by Mo Shaikh and a team of former Aptos Labs executives, the firm was created to close the gap between capital and operating expertise in the crypto ecosystem. MFV acts as both an investor and company-creation engine, combining early capital with deep operational involvement to help founders move from prototype to large-scale adoption.

Investment Focus

MFV invests in crypto infrastructure, blockchain technologies, AI-integrated Web3 applications, and next-generation decentralized platforms.

The firm targets projects that are technically ambitious and focused on long-term adoption rather than short-term token events.

Its core belief is that the next wave of growth in crypto will come from disciplined product execution and operating excellence

Fund

In October 2025, MFV launched its debut vehicle, a $50 million operator-led fund designed to back early-stage startups and empower technologists ready to become founders.

The fund held its first close and remains open to institutional LPs, family offices, and accredited investors. Since launch, MFV has already deployed around $5 million across six early-stage companies spanning regions such as the United States, South Korea, and the Middle East.
The fund operates as a “company-creation engine” that embeds with founders from inception through market adoption. MFV’s programs include a Founder Residency for operators validating ideas and building MVPs, 12-week embedded sprints, and ongoing operational support beyond initial product launches.

Other Information

Leadership

MFV is led by Mo Shaikh, co-founder of Aptos Labs and former executive at Meta, BlackRock, and BCG. He is joined by fellow Aptos alumni Neil Haran, Alexandre Tang, and Jerome Rome, all of whom bring experience from global institutions including Goldman Sachs, GIC, CloudKitchens, and Aptos. Together, the team combines deep blockchain expertise, product leadership, and operational experience scaling Web3 ecosystems.

Investment Strategy

MFV’s investment model is built on embedding with portfolio companies, not just funding them. The firm works alongside founders through intensive sprints, helping refine product loops, shape token mechanics, and accelerate early adoption. Its global approach, particularly in Asia, reflects where crypto usage and innovation are scaling fastest.

MFV emphasizes that operator-led capital will outperform passive capital by aligning incentives around product-market fit and sustained growth.

Notable Investments

Since its inception, MFV has invested in six early-stage crypto and AI-native Web3 startups, two of which have already achieved significant valuation markups.

Specific company names have not yet been disclosed publicly.

Notable Exits

As a newly launched fund, MFV has not yet reported any exits.

Other
MFV differentiates itself by combining capital with true operational engagement. Its founders have firsthand experience building a top blockchain ecosystem and raising nearly half a billion dollars in prior ventures. The firm’s structure allows it to stay involved until adoption takes hold, providing a unique mix of strategic capital and hands-on execution.
