Their thesis centers on founder strength and deep technical differentiation, backing teams that can scale globally from day one.

Fund

Meron Capital closed its third fund, Meron III, at $70 million in 2025. This vehicle expands the firm’s capacity to support Israeli founders at the earliest stages, focusing on category-defining innovation across software, security, AI, and deep tech verticals.

Meron III builds on the firm’s track record of identifying technical founders before many larger funds enter the round.

The new fund also strengthens its operational bench: Meron appointed Gil Shai as Managing Partner, a two-time founder and seasoned operator known for co-founding AcceloWeb and CloudEndure, both acquired by major global players. His experience growing CloudEndure’s product into a billion-dollar unit within AWS, paired with his 40-plus angel investments, gives the fund additional GTM depth and scaling expertise. Meron III is structured to provide high-conviction early backing and hands-on support, continuing the firm’s role as a system-level catalyst for elite Israeli startups.
