SIVentures, formerly known as Smart Infrastructure Ventures, is a Leipzig-based venture capital firm founded in 2019. The firm backs early-stage B2B technology startups, with a particular emphasis on companies from the DACH region. Investment Focus

Fund

In August 2025, SIVentures announced the launch of its second fund, SIVentures II, with a target size of 30 million euros. The fund has already secured more than 75% of its target and completed its first closing.

With Fund II, the firm aims to expand its portfolio of B2B-focused startups in Germany and neighboring countries.

The fund has already made four initial investments since its first close, with more planned in the coming months. Investors in Fund II include a mix of German corporates, banks, family offices, and funds of funds. This second vehicle builds on the momentum of its debut fund, which closed in 2024 and recorded two exits, including the sale of Leipzig-based digital health startup mementor to US healthcare company ResMed.

The firm’s second fund is already adding new names to this list, further broadening its portfolio of B2B-focused companies.

Notable Exits


SIVentures’ first fund achieved two exits, most notably the acquisition of digital health company mementor by ResMed. This marked an important milestone for the firm, validating its ability to identify and back promising startups at an early stage.
