Spire Capital Partners is a Warsaw-based private equity firm focused on technology-driven buyouts and growth investments in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). Launched in 2021, the firm targets profitable, medium-sized companies that are ready to scale through strategic guidance, international expansion, and operational support. Spire blends hands-on private equity practices with a strong focus on tech enablement, offering capital and capability to help companies transition from local leaders to regional champions.
Spire Capital invests in CEE-based companies with at least €1 million in EBITDA, primarily in the technology sector. The firm focuses on growth-stage opportunities where businesses are profitable but require capital, strategic expertise, and a long-term partner to reach their next level. Spire’s ideal targets sit in the gap between early-stage venture funding and large buyouts (companies that are too advanced for VC but still need professional support to unlock their full potential).
In August 2025, Spire Capital Partners announced the final close of its debut vehicle, Spire Capital Partners Fund I, at €90 million. The fund targets growth and buyout investments of €5 million to €20 million per company, primarily in Poland and other CEE countries.
About 25% of the fund has already been deployed into companies such as:
Fund I is backed by a broad LP base, including Polish family offices, individual investors, the Polish Development Fund (PFR), the European Investment Fund, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Local LPs and PFR represent about 45% of the committed capital.
The fund is designed to bridge the financing gap for profitable companies looking to expand operations, pursue M&A strategies, or internationalize.
Leadership
Spire Capital is led by Arkadiusz Podziewski and a team of experienced investment professionals with backgrounds in private equity, strategic consulting, and cross-border deal execution. The leadership brings a combined perspective of regional expertise and global expansion, offering tailored support to CEE-based founders and management teams.
Investment Strategy
Spire’s strategy centers on backing profitable, tech-enabled companies that are at an inflection point—ready to scale, consolidate, or globalize. The firm typically takes majority or significant minority positions and works closely with leadership teams to drive value creation through acquisitions, technology adoption, and operational efficiency. The goal is to serve as a long-term partner, providing not only capital but also strategic insight, sector knowledge, and access to international networks.
