Team8 Capital is the venture capital arm of Israel-based Team8 Group. Founded in 2014 by Nadav Zafrir and Liran Grinberg, the venture arm was launched in 2019 in partnership with Managing Partner Sarit Firon to invest in high-growth technology companies across cybersecurity, software infrastructure, fintech, and digital health. Leveraging the broader Team8 Group's company-building platform, Team8 Capital supports portfolio companies with strategic guidance, domain expertise, and access to a global network of more than 90 in-house company builders and a Village of hundreds of enterprise executives.
Team8 Capital invests at the Seed and Series A stages in AI-native enterprise companies across cybersecurity, software infrastructure, fintech, and digital health.
With its third fund, the firm is focused on the infrastructure, orchestration, identity, data, and security layers that enable enterprises to adopt AI technology securely, following a 2026 Team8 survey in which 97% of surveyed security executives reported adopting AI agents while rating their confidence in securing those systems at just 2.32 out of 5.
The firm remains focused exclusively on software rather than chips, data centers, or other hardware infrastructure.
Team8 Capital closed its third fund at $265 million in August 2026, alongside more than $100 million raised for follow-on investments in its highest-conviction portfolio companies, bringing new capital raised to $365 million.
This follows the firm's $235 million second fund, closed in March 2024. The new raise brings Team8 Group's total assets under management to nearly $2 billion across eight funds since 2014.
The third fund had already made nine investments and recorded its first exit before reaching its close: Palo Alto Networks acquired portfolio company Koi Security for a reported $400 million in February 2026.
Investors in the new fund include returning institutional backers and, for the first time, Indian software company Infosys. Team8's broader LP base has included Walmart, Cisco, Moody's, AT&T, SoftBank, and Temasek.
Leadership
Team8 Group was founded in 2014 by Nadav Zafrir and Liran Grinberg, among others. Team8 Capital, the group's venture capital arm, is led by Managing Partners Sarit Firon and Liran Grinberg, alongside Partners Ori Barzilay and Hadar Siterman Norris.
Firon previously served as Managing Partner at Cerca Partners and as CFO at MediaMind and P-Cube. Grinberg is a Team8 co-founder who began his career in the IDF's Unit 8200.
Barzilay leads investments in cybersecurity and software infrastructure, while Siterman Norris, a former Mastercard Europe investment executive, leads fintech investments.
Investment Strategy
