Teampact Ventures has closed its debut fund at slightly above €20 million. The fund targets early stage deep tech opportunities across climate and health and is backed by an unconventional LP base composed of roughly 60 elite athletes.
The LP group includes internationally recognized figures such as rugby star Antoine Dupont, handball champion Nikola Karabatic and World Cup winning footballer Raphael Varane.
This athlete anchored LP strategy is central to the fund’s operating model. Teampact pairs founders with professional athletes who support them in areas such as high pressure decision making, confidence building, strategic clarity and long term performance.
The fund is designed to serve as both an investment vehicle and a performance platform, combining capital with structured mindset support for early stage teams.
The debut vehicle will focus on European deep tech companies at pre seed and seed stages, especially those developing climate resilience, decarbonization and health related technologies. The fund expects to make concentrated, high conviction investments and actively coach founders through the early phases of company formation, product development and leadership growth.

The firm is led by Benjamin Kayser, former professional rugby player turned venture capitalist, alongside an experienced early stage investing team with backgrounds in deep tech, climate innovation and health startups.
