Ventures.eu

About

Ventures.eu is a Lisbon-based venture capital firm launched in 2025 with its debut €30 million fund. The firm was founded out of Dealflow.eu, the European Union’s official matchmaking platform for startups, investors, and corporates. Building on that foundation, Ventures.eu leverages its extensive network to support promising early-stage companies with both capital and operational expertise.

Investment Focus

The firm targets seed and pre-Series A startups, primarily in the fields of deeptech and artificial intelligence. Its investment range is set between €250,000 and €2 million, giving flexibility to support both very early validations and larger early growth rounds. Beyond capital, the team emphasizes strategic and hands-on support to accelerate growth.

Fund

Ventures.eu announced the launch of its first fund in August 2025, raising €30 million at inception. This maiden fund is focused on backing Europe’s most innovative early-stage companies, with an explicit tilt toward deeptech and AI.

By drawing on its roots in Dealflow.eu, Ventures.eu is positioned to connect startups with a pipeline of over 12,000 European startups and 1,200 co-investors.

The firm’s fund strategy combines financial investment with structured operational support, platform resources, and access to EU-level innovation networks, making the €30 million vehicle a differentiated offering for early-stage founders.

Investment Strategy

Ventures.eu follows an investment strategy that blends capital with ecosystem leverage. Its foundation in Dealflow.eu allows it to tap into a wide and curated network of startups, investors, and corporates across Europe. The strategy is to identify promising founders in deeptech and AI at the earliest stages and provide not just financial capital but also operational, compliance, and platform support. This approach is designed to bridge the gap between EU research and market adoption, helping early companies scale faster across Europe.

Notable Investments

As Ventures.eu has just launched its debut fund, the portfolio is not yet public. However, the firm’s Dealflow.eu background reflects prior support of more than 500 startups under EU contracts, giving the team deep experience in scouting, evaluating, and accelerating high-potential ventures.

Other

Ventures.eu’s origins in Dealflow.eu give it a unique structural advantage: founders gain access to a platform that has facilitated connections across 12,000+ startups, 1,200+ co-investors, and multiple corporates under the EU framework. This provides early-stage companies with visibility, network leverage, and potential co-investment opportunities.
