AlleyCorp

About

AlleyCorp is a New York-based early-stage venture firm founded by Kevin Ryan, widely regarded as the "Godfather of NYC tech", who previously served as CEO of DoubleClick (acquired by Google for $3.1B) and co-founded MongoDB, Gilt, Business Insider, and Zola. Originally operating as a family office for three decades, AlleyCorp raised its first institutional fund of $250M in 2023 and has now closed Fund II at $335M, making it one of New York's most significant venture institutions. The firm has eight unicorns in its current portfolio across healthcare, deep tech, and enterprise software.

Investment Focus

AlleyCorp backs early-stage founders across three core verticals: healthcare and digital health (value-based care, AI diagnostics, behavioral health, oncology, longevity, and clinical infrastructure); deep tech (robotics, nuclear energy, space, advanced manufacturing, and AI compute); and enterprise software and consumer technology (AI applications, creator economy, fintech, and vertical SaaS).

The firm writes first checks and takes an active, hands-on role from founding through scale.
