AlphaDrive is a Tel Aviv-based venture fund launched in May 2026 by Yaron Elad, Elik Etzion, and US-based partner Gurinder Sidhu. The firm describes itself as a multi-model venture fund partnering with founders building at the intersection of cybersecurity and AI. It operates a 360° support framework, combining investing expertise, a CISO network, and a US-based go-to-market platform, designed to support founders from ideation through enterprise scale.
AlphaDrive focuses exclusively on the convergence of cybersecurity and AI (what the firm calls "Cyber × AI"). The fund targets the shift underway as AI models are absorbed into cybersecurity products, reshaping both offense and defense. Investment themes include AI-native security tools, insider threat protection, security data management, and AI-driven managed security services. The firm also pursues AI-driven roll-up strategies (technology-enabled serial M&A) and a Foundry model for building companies alongside serial entrepreneurs.
AlphaDrive launched as a $100 million fund in May 2026, with Leumi Partners (the investment arm of Bank Leumi) as anchor investor, alongside the Aurum/Kahn family office, cybersecurity entrepreneurs from Israel and the US, VC fund managers, and other investors from the US and Europe. The fund invests across stages, from seed through later-stage, supplemented by larger-scale co-investments with Leumi Partners. At launch, AlphaDrive had already deployed into five startups, investing alongside leading funds including Greylock, Accel, CRV, Notable, and Viola Ventures.
Leadership
Yaron Elad is Managing Partner and co-founder, previously CEO of Elron Ventures, where he led dozens of investments primarily in cybersecurity. Elik Etzion is Managing Partner and co-founder, a cybersecurity and AI expert and former deputy head of the cyber division of Unit 8200, and former CISO of Bank Hapoalim. Gurinder Sidhu is the US-based Partner, previously leading cybersecurity and infrastructure software at UBS, where he managed M&A and financing for companies including CrowdStrike, CyberArk, SentinelOne, Barracuda, Sophos, and Varonis. Sharon Wagner serves as Venture Partner (a serial entrepreneur who has sold multiple companies to tech giants including Microsoft). Dr. Uri Geiger is a VC and PE investor on the team. Investment Strategy
AlphaDrive combines three complementary strategies: traditional VC investing across the full company lifecycle (seed through later stage); a private equity-style AI-driven roll-up model for serial M&A; and a Foundry model co-building companies with serial entrepreneurs. A defining structural feature is the CyberWisdom program, an intimate group of leading CISOs from global enterprises who personally invest both time and capital into AlphaDrive, providing portfolio founders with direct practitioner feedback from day one. The firm also operates Shield8, a US-based AI-native MSSP platform that serves as a go-to-market acceleration engine for portfolio companies.
Notable Investments
The fund's portfolio at launch includes:
Notable Exits
The founding team brings a combined prior track record of 22 exits from their Elron Ventures tenure with a combined value of approximately $2.5 billion. No exits have been recorded from the AlphaDrive portfolio to date given the fund's recent launch.
Other
AlphaDrive's CyberWisdom community is a distinctive structural element: senior CISOs from companies including Elastic, Chime, Dexcom, Medtronic, and New Charter Technologies are personally invested in the fund and serve as active advisors to portfolio founders throughout the investment lifecycle, not merely as advisors on paper.
