Antler is a global early-stage venture capital firm founded in 2017 by Magnus Grimeland, headquartered in Singapore. The firm operates in over 30 locations worldwide, including Jakarta, Indonesia, and has invested in more than 1,300 portfolio companies with a total portfolio value of $4.8 billion.
In January 2026, Antler announced the close of $510 million in new global funds. Half of this capital is earmarked for US-based founders, reflecting a significant expansion in North America, including the launch of a new San Francisco residency program. This brings Antler’s total global capital to over $1 billion. Institutional LPs in the new fund include the New Mexico State Investment Council, EIFO (Denmark’s Export and Investment Fund), and various university endowments.
The fund will continue to support Antler’s full-stack model—helping founders from inception through later-stage growth—and provide follow-on capital through its Elevate vehicle. The San Francisco program deepens Antler’s US presence, adding to hubs in New York and Austin, and is expected to accelerate the creation of new startups focused on AI, biotech, and digital infrastructure. The firm plans to back thousands of founders over the next several years using this capital.
In February 2025, Antler closed its second Nordic Fund at $100 million USD, tripling the size of its inaugural Nordic fund.
