Aquiti Gestion is a Bordeaux-based fund manager with roots stretching back more than two decades, investing across venture and private equity strategies in Nouvelle-Aquitaine and the broader French South West, including Pays de la Loire, Occitanie, Centre-Val de Loire, and the former Auvergne region. The firm manages roughly $257 million across its strategies, which include seed and growth venture investing, business transition and transmission capital, and honor loans for early-stage entrepreneurs.

Aquiti Venture Amorçage 1 (AVA1) invests in pre-seed and seed-stage technology startups across the French South West, devoting at least 70% of its resources to health and environmental themes, including biotech, medtech, energy transition, decarbonization, and biodiversity.
The fund writes initial checks of $112,000 to $3.35 million, rising to as much as $6.7 million through follow-on investment in Series A and B rounds, and plans to back 25 to 30 companies over four to five years.

Aquiti Gestion has closed AVA1 at nearly $67 million, reaching its target roughly two years after a $33.5 million first close in 2024.
The fund is backed by Bpifrance's Fonds National d'Amorçage 3 under the France 2030 plan, Société Nouvelle-Aquitaine Participations, Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, MACSF, entities from the Crédit Agricole and BPCE groups, and entrepreneurs and company directors from the South West.
AVA1 has backed 13 companies so far, including Synboli, RelaiSanté, Curlim, and Speeral, and is one of the largest regional seed vehicles in France, aimed at financing startups outside Paris-centered investment circuits.
