b2venture is a European venture capital firm backing early stage founders building scalable and defensible technologies. The firm operates a community driven model that integrates a network of over 350 experienced angel investors alongside its institutional investment team. With a history spanning two decades and five fund generations, b2venture has supported many of Europe’s leading tech companies and maintains a long term, relationship oriented approach to venture investing.
b2venture closed Fund V at 150 million euros in January 2026, reaching its hard cap and marking the largest early stage vehicle in the firm’s history. The fund is backed by a mix of returning and new LPs, including family offices, institutional investors, high net worth individuals, and several founders from previous portfolio companies.
New LPs include Flexstone and Swiss pension fund Stiftung Abendrot, along with operators and angels such as Thomas Hagemann and Joachim Schoss. Fund V will invest in about 35 early stage European startups and continues the firm’s intergenerational model, where founders backed by b2venture often invest in future funds.
This approach strengthens the firm’s support system and advisory network for new founders. The fund has already completed several investments, including Nautica Technologies, Hive Robotics, Augmented Industries, and Assemblean, reflecting its focus on deep tech, automation, and engineering driven businesses shaping the next era of European industry.
