BLING Capital

About

BLING Capital is a Stockholm-based venture capital firm established in 2022 as an extension of BLING, a movement founded in 2014 to counter exclusion and segregation of underrepresented groups in Sweden's entrepreneurial ecosystem. The firm invests in diverse, ambitious founding teams building scalable businesses, drawing on more than a decade of work through BLING's network of over 10,000 entrepreneurs across Sweden.

Investment Focus

BLING Capital invests in teams of at least two founders building scalable businesses with the potential to disrupt or transform their markets.

The firm invests at the earliest stages, with no stage considered too early, and aims to be a long-term partner throughout a company's journey. Its thesis centers on backing founders from underrepresented groups, spanning gender, ethnicity, or area of upbringing, who often lack access to traditional venture networks.

The firm invests across sectors rather than a specific vertical.

Fund

BLING Capital reached first close of its second fund in August 2026, $10.5 million vehicle for pre-seed investments, with more than half of the fund already secured.

Returning investors from Fund I are continuing into Fund II alongside new backers, including Alfvén & Didrikson as a new anchor investor. Annika Sten Pärson and Pär-Jörgen Pärson continue their backing through The Inner Foundation, alongside Johan Karlsson.

Fund II follows BLING Capital's debut vehicle, a roughly SEK 30 million (approximately $3.15 million) fund launched in 2022 that was anchored by The Inner Foundation (founded by Annika Sten Pärson and Pär-Jörgen Pärson) and Johan Karlsson, CEO of real estate company Slättö.

Leadership

BLING Capital is led by General Partners Deqa Abukar and Adnan Yousuf, who co-founded the fund building on their work with the BLING movement. Rami Almudafar serves as Partner and Fund Manager.

The investment committee also includes Pär-Jörgen Pärson, a partner at Northzone since 2004 whose portfolio includes Spotify, iZettle, and Avito, and Johan Karlsson, founder of Slättö. The board includes Kenneth Axelsson and Johan Crona.

Investment Strategy

BLING Capital's initial investments range from SEK 300,000 to SEK 2 million (approximately $30,000 to $210,000). The firm sources deal flow through BLING's decade-long ecosystem of more than 10,000 entrepreneurs across Sweden, allowing it to identify and build relationships with founders, sometimes years, before they raise their first round of venture capital.
