Energy Revolution Ventures (ERV) is a London-based venture capital firm specializing in early-stage investments in deep-science electrochemistry companies focused on the energy transition. Their investment areas include energy storage, grid technology, renewable fuels, carbon capture, and advanced materials. ERV closed its debut fund at $18 million in December 2024 and is now raising its second fund, targeting $50 million.

Fund

In December 2024, ERV closed its debut fund at $18 million to invest in pre-seed through Series A companies across energy storage, carbon capture, and advanced materials.

In September 2026, ERV announced the first close of its second fund, ERV Fund II, at $13.5 million, anchored by a commitment from Centrica, the UK's largest energy supplier. ERV Fund II is targeting a total of $50 million and will invest in seed and Series A companies working on energy storage, grid technology, and advanced materials, addressing rising electricity demand from transport electrification, heating, industrial processes, and data center growth.
