Isogon Ventures

About

Isogon Ventures is an early-stage venture capital firm co-founded in 2026 by Paco Riberas and Dan Abelon, investing in AI and technology companies modernizing the physical economy. The firm operates with a transatlantic scope, with teams based in New York and Madrid, and backs founders building across advanced manufacturing, robotics, logistics, energy, supply chains, and other core industrial sectors. Isogon's name derives from the geometric concept of alignment around a shared true north, founders, capital, and corporate partners working together toward the modernization of essential industries.

Investment Focus

Isogon invests in software, hardware, and autonomy companies bringing AI, robotics, and real-time data to factory floors, freight networks, energy grids, and supply chains, sectors that represent over 25% of global GDP yet receive a fraction of venture funding. The firm's thesis is that AI has moved from the screen to the shop floor, and that the physical world is ready for a wave of transformation comparable to what software delivered for information flows over the past three decades.

Investment Strategy

Isogon invests at Series A and selectively at seed, with typical initial checks of $5–8 million. A defining feature of the firm's model is its industrial operator network, a working bench of corporates and family business leaders across the US and Europe committed to making introductions, sponsoring pilots, navigating procurement, and turning early traction into signed contracts. The firm's transatlantic positioning, New York and Madrid, allows it to help US founders enter Europe and European founders access North America's largest industrial buyers.
