J-Ventures is a Palo Alto-based early-stage venture firm founded in 2018 by Jim Koshland and Oded Hermoni, operating across the US and Israel under what it calls a "Capitalist Kibbutz" model. Oded Hermoni is Managing Partner and Co-Founder, a Jerusalem-born former technology journalist who founded two startups and was previously a partner at Rhodium, giving him deep roots in both the Israeli and Bay Area ecosystems.
Jim Koshland is Co-Founder, a longtime Silicon Valley corporate lawyer and former chairman of the UC Berkeley Foundation.
