Fund

In January 2025 Madrona announced the closing of two new funds totaling $770 million. This fundraise, marking the firm's 30th anniversary, is the largest in its history.

The $770 million is divided between two funds:

Madrona Fund X: Dedicated to early-stage investments, this fund will focus on pre-seed, seed, and Series A rounds.

Acceleration Fund IV: Aimed at later-stage companies, primarily at the Series B and C stages.

Investment Strategy

Madrona focuses on seed, startup, Series A, and early-stage investments. The firm partners with entrepreneurs from the inception of an idea through the growth stages of a company. In 2014, Madrona launched Madrona Venture Labs, an in-house startup incubator, to foster innovation and support new ventures.
